We are thrilled to have you here and hope your stay with us exceeds your expectations! We hope you feel right at home from the moment you walk in our door!

CHECK IN Time
4:00 PM

Check in time is after 4 PM on the day of your arrival. Access information will be shared via email prior to your arrival. Please note that we may not be able to accommodate early check-ins due to cleaning and preparation schedules. If you have any questions or need assistance, feel free to reach out. We want to ensure your check in process is smooth and stress-free.

CHECK OUT Time
10:00 AM

Check-out time is 10 AM on the day of your departure. We kindly ask that you adhere to this time to allow for cleaning and preparation for our next guests. If you require a later check-out time, please let us know in advance and we’ll do our best to accommodate your request, depending upon availability. Please also complete the check-out steps prior to exiting.

House Rules

No Smoking/ Vaping

Please note that smoking/vaping is strictly prohibited inside the property. A fine of $250 per day will be assessed for any violations to this rule.

No Pets

We love our furry friends, but unfortunately, pets are not allowed in the property. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

No Parties

To ensure a peaceful stay for all guests, parties and events are not permitted on the premises. We appreciate your respect for our neighbors and fellow guests.

Lights

Please help us conserve energy by turning off lights when not in use. Please also turn off all outdoor lights at 10 PM so as not to disturb our neighbors.

Recycling

Help us reduce waste by recycling! Please separate recyclables such as paper, plastic, glass, and metal into designated bins provided by the garage.

Quiet Hours

Quiet Hours are between 10 PM and 7 AM. This is strictly enforced in Isle of Palms. More specifics on the ordinances are included the end of this book.

Around the House

Television

Our TVs are controlled by remotes. We have a standard cable package through Xfinity or you can log onto your streaming service. Please log out before your departure. The outdoor TV is not connected to cable, but you can use your streaming service on it. The wireless speakers for the outdoor TV are in the left drawer of the console behind the couch and should be faced towards the house while in use so as not to disturb the neighbors and to avoid triggering any noise ordinances.

Garage

You can access the garage through a keypad to the left of the garage doors. The code will be sent to you in advance of your stay. Please note the garage door closes automatically every 10 minutes to keep unwanted pests from entering the garage. There is exercise equipment in the garage. Please feel free to use it, logging into your Peloton or Hydrow account. Please not that the Hydrow does not connect well to the internet in the garage for some reason, so you will need to use a hotspot when using it in the garage.

Grilling

A propane grill and a green egg are located on the pool deck. There are grill utensils under the grill and a grill basket in the pantry. There is also a smoker tool and smoking chips available for your use. Please clean grills off after using them and ensure the propane is turned off.

Trash

Garbage and recycling bins are located on the side of the house. Our weekly trash service will care for getting the trash and recycling out during the week. Please remove the trash from the house to the bins daily to remain sanitary and minimize any pests.

Temperature Control

Please keep the house temperature between 68-73 degrees Fahrenheit to ensure your stay is comfortable and the HVAC remains in optimal working order.

Lawn /Pool Maintenance

Our lawn / gardens and pool are maintained regularly. Our landscape and pool care teams may tend to the property during your stay.

Emergency Information

First Aid Kit

Safety first! We’ve got you covered with a first aid kit on-site in the drawers all the way to the right of the fireplace in the living room. From minor cuts and scrapes to unexpected bumps and bruises, rest assured that help is at hand for basic first aid needs.

In Case of Fire

Your safety is our priority. In the unlikely event of a fire, our home has a sprinkler system that will activate as well as fire ladders in the third floor playroom and first floor laundry room and a fire extinguisher in the basement. Dial 911 for immediate external assistance.

Hospital

Rest easy knowing that medical assistance is nearby.
Roper St. Francis Mount Pleasant Hospital is located at 3500 N. Hwy. 17, Mt. Pleasant, SC. Phone 843.606.7000, and is readily accessible in case of emergencies. Save this information for quick reference should the need arise. Again, dial 911 for immediate assistance.

Dental Emergency

If you have an unexpected dental emergency while you are here, there is a well respected dentist close to IOP that may be able to help. Dr. Daphne Pierce, DMD, Pierce Family Dentistry, 1041 Johnnie Dodds Blvd., #4A, Mt Pleasant, SC 2946. Phone 843.849.7609.

If you are in need of a family physician during your stay, there is a very well respected family practice close to IOP that has served our family for years. Dr. George Durst, MD, 306 Station 22 ½ St, Sullivan’s Island, SC 29482. Phone 843.883.3176.

Before You Leave

Please:

  • Take your remaining food with you or toss it out.
  • Remember to log-out of your TV apps.
  • Ensure the residue on the oven range and countertops is wiped with a sponge (please no abrasive cleaners or Brillo pads which will scratch). Throw away the sponges you used.
  • Leave the beds you used unmade and sheets and towels in pillowcases in the laundry room downstairs.
  • Make sure all the dishes are cleaned and put away where they belong.
  • Leave the garage as you found it, with items rinsed and returned to their proper space.
  • Check that the grill has been brushed since your last use and that the propane has been turned off.
  • Make sure to close and lock all windows you opened.
  • Turn off the lights.
  • Lock the door.

This home far exceeded our expectations! The rooms, bathrooms and pool are large and very comfortable. The house was perfect for all three generations that stayed- grandparents on the first floor so minimal climbing, kids enjoyed the pool and “playroom” and bunk beds. The coffee station on the third floor was fantastic as was being able to make a cup and walk out on the balcony to watch the sun come up. The sunset on the lagoon from the back porch swing was so beautiful! The kitchen was perfectly outfitted for all our needs. By far and away the most well-stocked kitchen we have seen for a rental. Being right on the intracoastal waterway made it easy to launch kayaks and paddleboards that were in the garage. And we made great use of the outdoor games in the yard and at the beach!! The owners were helpful and gracious and we felt very welcomed from the moment we arrived. Wonderful holiday for our entire family. Would absolutely stay in this house that feels like a “home” again!”
